INFORMATION FOR DANCERS
WHEN TO ARRIVE, WHERE TO GO & WHEN TO LEAVE:
* Due to Covid 19 restrictions, parents are not permitted in the building
* Please bring your own mask. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the building.
* Please arrive at the Heritage Playhouse Theatre ready in costume, hair and make
* Please wait outside or in your car until you are called in at the side door by the stair (on the greenroom entrance side)
* Students may also wait on the back deck as long as they are socially distanced.
* Students will complete the COVID 19 Symptom Survey
* Students will be given a bin to place their belongings in that they will carry with them to their seat.
* Students will sit in the audience while waiting to perform and will be called down 10 minutes prior to their performance time to warm up backstage.
* After performing, students will return to their seat and wait for the adjudication at the end of the session.
* The Greenroom and foyer are closed but students may change costumes either in the upstairs bathroom or in the changing tents backstage
* Upstairs bathroom is available to performers. 2 are permitted at one time in the Women's washroom and 1 person is permitted at a time in the Men's washroom.
* PLEASE COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER AND EITHER EMAIL SUBMIT IT OR BRING THE COMPLETED FORM TO HAND IN UPON YOUR ARRIVAL

AWARDS, ADJUDICATION SHEETS, ETC
AWARDS: Because each studio is performing in their own time slot. Overall awards will be tallied at the end of the event one all participants have performed. Awards will be emailed to teachers and posted on the Coastal Dance Festival website within 24 of the event. Certificates for Awards and any scholarships will be mailed to the students studio director and can be collected from them directly.
PLACEMENT & ADJUDICATION: Each performer will receive a Certificate of Participation as well as their placement (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc) from the adjudicator at the end of their session. There are no 1st, 2nd or 3rd placements but there are overall awards for each level. These are tallied at the end of the event.
MARKS & ADJUDICATION SHEETS: Marks will be given directly to teachers following the event along with the adjudication sheets. Students will receive their marks and comments from their own teachers directly.

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS
• Bring Your Own Water: Students are encouraged to bring a full water bottle to class. For health and safety reason, there will be no
water refill options at the theatre. Emergency Single Use Water Bottles are available if needed.
• Covid Symptom Survey: Students (or parents of younger students) will be asked to answer verbally the Covid Symptoms Survey
before entering.
• Hand Sanitization: Students will be provided with hand sanitizer upon entry and during the event
• PPE Requirements: Mask are available for all students and must be worn at all times. Students are encouraged to bring their own masks.
• Increased Air Flow: The Heritage Playhouse has a exterior air flow system which brings in clean air into the building. HEPA Filtration systems will also
be used in the building during festival performances.
• High Touch Surface Cleaning: All high touch surfaces will be sanitized between each session
• FOGGER Disinfecting of Venue: Staff will use a FOGGER after each session to sanitize every hard and soft
surface in the studio. Foggers provide hospital grade sanitization that is 100% biodegradable, Environmentally friendly, Non toxic and
safe. It will reduce our need to use Chemical disinfectants and will provide a full coverage application at the micron level.
